Kindermusik and Halloween

I'm not too late for a Halloween post, am I? First, I'm a little disappointed in my camera, or my seeming inability to take a non-blurry picture. So, I can't even post some of the cuter pictures. Anyway, the kids were allowed to dress up at Kindermusik on Tuesday and Ethan was pretty excited. He was a dragon, but the head didn't stay on for long, as it was difficult to move around in. Here's a few of him dancing around, and my absolute favourite of him and a little girl named Scarlet playing their rhythm instruments on the floor.

In the evening, Ethan's friend, Lukas came over with his parents, Jon and Stephanie, and their little one year old, Olivia, and the boys went Trick or Treating down our street. Lukas was a lion and I WISH the picture of the two of them had turned out better. They were just so stinkin' cute. And so cute going door to door. Ethan roared at people every other house as they commented on his costume. We had to stop both boys from actually entering people's homes if they happened to see toys lying around. Ethan asked a couple times if he could come in and play with their toys. Oy. And then I think they were starting to get a little over-enthusiastic about the candy toward the end. Some houses offered two pieces, but some only offered one. I had to stop Ethan from actually reaching into someone's bowl at the door to get a second piece. At one house, they were asked what they wanted, as in which piece of candy. Ethan answered, "Two!" LOL Oh dear. By the time we were done, Ethan was complaining that his neck hurt, trying to keep his dragon face out of HIS face.

And now, of course, I have the fun task of rationing candy. But it hasn't been too bad so far. :)
Here are a few pictures of my little "monster". Oh, and for any Robert Munsch fans out there, Ethan did say he was the dragon from The Paper Bag Princess. Appropriate for my book-loving kid.
