The Snowbirds

Today, we spent the afternoon at Willows Beach (a popular summer destination in Victoria) for the Snowbirds airshow. There were about 30,000 people there. And it was HOT!

We brought a picnic lunch (okay, it was actually McDonald's) and waited and waited and waited and waited some more.

Finally, they came!! For more information on the Snowbirds go here: http://www.snowbirds.dnd.ca/site/index_e.asp
I have only ever seen the Snowbirds as they randomly would fly over my house during airshows back home, but never actually saw one of their shows. It was really neat. Ethan seemed to think they were pretty awesome, too. He had to go home and find his own toy fighter plane (courtesy of Auntie Adrienne) and fly it around a bit. I guess he was "inspired".
