We've had a fun weekend. On Saturday, we got together with some friends, Alec and Katie, and their little boy, Owen. Alec teaches with Colin, and Katie and I see each other a couple times a week at various kids' programs. Owen is just 5 months older than Silas and LOVES Silas. Silas isn't as big a fan of Owen, but we'll give him some time. ;) We met them at the beach and had a picnic lunch. It was nice, even though it was a cooler, cloudy day. Ethan and Colin went for a little hike up one of the surrounding hills, which is where these pictures were taken.
When they got to the top of the hill, Ethan said, "Take a picture of me like this!"

I just bought letter stickers, shiny ones are best for dying. It was cool.
