I guess it's good we're getting stuff out of the way before we travel, right? Right? Heh.
Silas now has chicken pox. AND he walked last week. AND he finally has teeth! Yes, my 11 month old finally has his first two teeth. They popped through this week. Yesterday, he ran a low-grade fever all day and this morning, those tell-tale little spots have started. But at least the fever has broke and he's acting like his normal self. Hey, if he has them like Ethan did, we're set. Ethan's were so mild and he was hardly bothered by them. Never even scratched or picked. I was so proud of him. And at least Silas, my child who does NOT suffer from sensory issues, will let me put calamine lotion on him. Ethan wouldn't let us because it was "too wet".
Needless to say, sleep has been minimal around here. It's really catching up to me and I feel drained every day. I get a bit of a break this morning as Silas naps and Ethan and Colin went to church. The quiet is sometimes all I need to rejuvenate.

Wow! What a week for your little man! I hope he doesn't get the pox too bad. Doesn't it seem like we just got done with teething toddlers and we are doing it all over again?
