December part 3

Better finish before December is over.  And 2010!
 My happy redheads!
 Loves of my life
All dressed up for Christmas Eve
 Christmas Eve jammies
A labour of love under this tree.  Half of these gifts were given anonymously to our family through some local people and businesses.  This was coordinated by my counsellor's office.  Another quarter of these were given by another solo mum I only know through online communication.  She went through almost my exact situation about 10 years ago and is now in a place where they can play "Santa" for another family.  I pray I will be in that place also someday.  We are blessed beyond measure.
 Merry Christmas!
"My first cash!"  Exclaimed by Ethan.  He's had many dollar and two dollar coins in his life, but never "paper money".  Paper money is the bomb!  These were from Grandma and Grandpa.  Very exciting.
 She's all about the bling.
 A very much desired gift.
 The aftermath
Later, at my sister's, opening cousin and grandparent gifts.  She wasn't crying about the ladybug toque, but I had to snap a picture because she looked so cute, even while crying.  I'm a mean mum that way.  ;)
Silas has been telling everyone (and I mean everyone) that he wanted the "Lego Duplo Fire Station" for Christmas, since about September.  Oh, bliss!
 Another much wanted item
I jokingly wrapped her up and laid her on the couch and told her to nap.  She actually lay there for a really long time.
 Read some books
 Snuggle the book
Look plaintively at Mum and wonder if she can just get picked up now.
Took the boys to see a local theatre's adaptation of 5 Robert Munsch stories.  They were pretty excited and it was a very fun show.  FUN afternoon with my boys.

Happy New Year!

what a wonderful blessing to be given so many gifts by people who care about you. God is showing you yet again how much He cares about you and will take care of you.
