Rory was sitting on my lap today, facing away from me, which is what she wants to do these days. Must be sitting and must be able to see what is going on at all times. Then, suddenly, she turned her head and looked up at me. And smiled. And turned away. Then turned to me, smiled, turned away, turned to me, smiled... You get the picture. She seemed truly surprised (and so pleased!) every time she turned around, and saw that it was actually her mama sitting right there! I don't think she knew that before.
She melts my heart.
