Remember this?

This post was from about a year ago. I was just reading back in my blog and found it. And just cracked up laughing, here in my cold little computer room, in the dark, at 11:17pm, waiting for dear Silas to start his nightly waking routine, and also waiting for Colin to come home from work. That one may be a few hours yet.

But I digress. I AM tired, after all.

A year ago, Silas, at the tender age of 9 months, was already wreaking havoc with our computer. And he hasn't let up. Thank goodness we have an enclosed room here and can shut the door when we're not in here. If the door accidently gets left open, you can bet the littlest member of our family will become VERY quiet, and we'll go searching (because "quiet" isn't usually a good thing with our sweet Silas). And we will find him, at the computer, clicking the mouse, pressing buttons. Several times, he will press things, or move things around, and we can't figure out how to undo it. Mostly, Colin can, but I sure can't. Things must remain as they are, or I will be completely lost! There are several random, meaningless websites that Silas "created" shortcuts for and now sit on our computer's desktop. Even Colin had to sit for awhile to figure that out. One day, some spreadsheet had been opened and Silas was filling in boxes, in what appeared to be some sort of secret code. Another time, he was definitely "searching" for a website up in the address bar.

*sigh*

Either he's really kind of flukey, or he's a computer hacker in the making. Maybe he can get a job with the FBI.
