Okay, I do complain about the cold here in New Zealand a lot. Or the cold in our house, at least. But really, winter isn't all that bad. When it stops raining, and the wind dies down, and the sun comes out? You just can't get more brilliant winter weather than this! It's 3:30 on a sunny, Sunday afternoon, about 15 degrees outside, I have most of our windows open and a beautiful breeze (not warm, but not cold) is blowing gently through our house, leaving everything smelling fresh and clean. I have sheets drying outside on the line, which will smell so wonderful tonight as we snuggle in our beds to sleep.
Yes, it's good. I just cannot find a thing to complain about on a winter day like today. :)
