And we're off!

Well, not exactly yet, but in just a few days.

Tomorrow (Monday), I will frantically try and pack for all 4 of us. It's tricky, because Colin and I are leaving on separate flights and I'm actually leaving our house a day early (my flight's very early Wednesday morning). So he will take his stuff, plus some of our stuff, so I can take less and not have to juggle so much on my own in the airports, with both boys.

Tuesday morning, Ethan, Silas and I will head down to Wellington (about a 2.5 hour drive). We plan to spend a good chunk of the day at my favourite museum, Te Papa, and then to a hotel for the night. Well, not quite the whole night, just until 2am, when I need to get us up and to the airport for our 6am flight. I'm a little bleary-eyed just thinking about that.

We will land in Sydney quite early in the day, find a shuttle to our hotel and relax for the rest of the day. The area we are staying in has a beautiful beach and I'm hoping for weather like we've been having lately (between 15-20 degrees! Not bad for the middle of winter), so we can thoroughly enjoy Sydney's famous beaches. Colin's flight (with the students and other teachers) arrives in the late afternoon and I probably won't see him until 10 or 11 that night.

Wish us well! Pray for safe travels and fun times! I will likely not be online while we're gone, and will have MUCH to say when we get back. Watch for it!
