More pictures

My poor second child. He has gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to taking his picture. Isn't that the way? Ah well, here are a few from the past few weeks.

I've been trying forever to get a really great smile on camera, but the second he sees the camera, he gets all serious and just stares at it. So, my attempts haven't been terribly successful. Oh goodness, I wish I could share his big open mouth smiles and sweet smiles and today, he was smiling at a little duck that hangs over his change table. He smiles and talks to this duck all the time. It's way too cute. I was SURE he actually said "hi" to the duck today. He said it in the exact tone we use when we say hi to him. But again, he immediately turned away from his little "friend" as soon as the camera came out. Oh, Silas, you're so sweet.
