Prayer

This past week, one of Colin's students came to him and she was quite upset. She told him that a little boy she used to babysit had just been diagnosed with bone cancer. He's 7. Colin proceeded to tell her about Asher, the little 3 year old we've been praying for, who also has cancer. He told her that Ethan prays for Asher every night.

She later went to her church/synagogue (she's Jewish, please forgive me if I don't know the name of where they worship) and asked that this little boy she knows be prayed for. And she also told Colin to thank Ethan for reminding her to pray daily for the little boy.

I was really struck by this, that something that Ethan does so simply, with the "faith of a child" could have such an impact on this young, teenage girl. The ways God works are truly amazing.
