The Year in Photos

My poor, neglected blog.  Today is the last day of 2011.  I can't promise I'll do better in 2012, but I do have a desire and dream to further my writing so maybe I can stay motivated here.

This year has been a year of ups and downs, but mostly ups.  I finished my "Year of Gratitude" (daily thankful posts) on Thanksgiving and decided to continue up to 1000 and call them "gifts".  I'm reading a book called One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp.  It is truly inspiring.  And, I believe, we are called to live a life of gratitude and thankfulness for all we have been given, from the most tiny thing, to the biggest.  This life of gratitude and praise glorifies God and draws us close to him in ways we can't quite fathom.  But it does.  It has transformed me and the way I think.  "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

These are photos from this year.  All things I am forever grateful for.  2011 in photos!  (Click on any of the photos to see them larger).
