For Silas, it was this one. And believe me, the hammering has not stopped for 9 days now. He hammers in the playroom, he hammers in the kitchen, he hammers in the living room, he hammers in the hallway, he hammers in his bedroom, he hammers in his bed... You get the picture. It's adorable. And loud. And it kind of sounds like we've got some ongoing construction project all over the house. Hooray!

But then there's the trampoline. The "damponine", as Silas calls it. Someday, when we get the video onto the computer, I will show you Ethan's expression when he walked into the backyard and saw it for the first time. Priceless.
It's technically not from us at all. It's Christmas and birthday presents from all the grandparents. And since they can't see the boys enjoying it, I hope these pictures will convey the joy this has brought in just over a week. And will continue to for years to come, I hope.

Yes, that is chocolate on their faces.

And yes, these two little packages of ceaseless energy are precisely why we needed a trampoline. Get it all out, boys!

The neighbour kids are enjoying it, too.

Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma Penner! Thank you, Grandma Hedivan and Len! We love you. We miss you. Next year, Christmas at our place!

Yes, it looks like the trampoline is a HUGE hit! Gotta love a little construction worker. :) In our house it always has been and still is the sound of a race car flying around the track...funny how the sounds he makes really does sound like the cars on the track too!
