"Spotty"

My boy has Chicken Pox. Ethan, that is. Yup, our first honest-to-goodness childhood disease. I'm not too phased, as I have always hoped my children would get the typical diseases in childhood, and gain lifelong immunity. So far, he's also not phased and isn't even itchy. He appears to have a mild case, with about 50 spots. *knock wood* Let's hope it doesn't get worse. So far, no fever, no nausea, just his normal self.

Tonight I kissed him good-night and said, "Good-night, Spotty. Can I call you Spotty?" His response, "Well, when my chicken pox go away, you can call me something else." Oh, I laughed. I don't think he's impressed with his new nickname. ;)
