Smiles and diapers

These are my first attempts to get smiles from Silas on camera. They're still a little awkward. He's doing much better already. Funny, how they have to "learn" how to smile. He's pretty free with his smiles now, though, and he adds in much gurgling and cooing with them. My heart just soars when I see and hear him.

I just had to take a picture of Silas in his jaguar print diaper cover. Oh my goodness, he's just too cute in it. And it is quite possibly the softest material I have EVER touched. SO nice! It's called Berry Plush and they're made locally, too, by a company called Jamtots. I bought all our cloth diapers for Silas there, and I just have to RAVE about their customer service. They are truly wonderful to deal with. Now, I need to start saving so I can buy MORE Berry Plush covers when we move up a size. :)
Oh, and do you see that quilt Silas is lying on? It was lovingly made by his auntie, my sister, Joanna. Isn't it so pretty?

Absolutely adorable. Silas has sure filled out. It is so amazing to me how fast they grow. Glad you are doing well.
