My bladder is not a pillow

But this baby doesn't seem to agree. The rolling and kicking on my bladder is unreal this pregnancy. I never noticed this with Ethan. I guess my bladder wasn't as enticing for him. But this baby seems to camp out on top of it several times a day. Now, of course, pregnant mamas need to use the bathroom frequently, but this is insane! Heh.

On the plus side, I absolutely love feeling this baby rolling all over the place inside me. I get tons of kicks, but so many rolls. It makes me smile and I treasure every movement. I often think God gave me this very active baby for such a special reason. When I feel it move, I feel such a deep connection with this baby, which I was worried for so long, that I would not feel. And I hold him/her so close to my heart. I can't believe I've been so blessed with this miracle. A year ago, when we decided to try for a second baby, I never imagined the road I'd have to take to get here. And so, although all babies are miracles in their own right, this one seems to be an even more special one that God gave to me at just the right time. It's bittersweet. Two babies in Heaven so this one could be here with us. It's hard to express in words how deeply it all affects me. I ache for those two babies. But I know this one is the one meant for my arms.

Oh, and today, when I told Ethan the baby was moving, he said, "The baby's moving like this" and proceeded to do one of his goofy little "Ethan dances". I laughed so hard. I asked him if the baby was going to be a goof like him, and he said yes. Oh man, we're really in for it, then. ;)

Oh Krista I could agree more with you on this "I often think God gave me this very active baby for such a special reason.". I am so glad this little bean is an active one for you. I am still thinking pink!
